The real estate and tourism sectors have experienced a significant increase in employment and job vacancies.
Between July and August alone, national employment centers registered an increase of nearly 1,200 job vacancies in the real estate sector, particularly for developers, civil engineers, architects, construction professionals in various specializations, commercial and construction managers or project managers.
According to the Idealist, between January and September of this year, real estate and construction generated 9,056 new jobs in our country, with CPC accounting for 620,000 jobs in the sector, still far from 900,000 in 2000, but on a growth path.
The IEFP monthly report shows that although the real estate sector still has a high number of registered unemployed, which totals 99,805, the number of job vacancies has been increasing.
For its part, tourism will have generated around 40,000 jobs from January to September this year, according to the Secretary of State for Tourism, Ana Mendes Godinho. In comparison with the same month last year, September had more than 30,000 employees.
