Garvetur celebrates 35 years with a solidarity sports eventReturn to list
The solidarity sports event gathered on the Falésia beach in Vilamoura this Sunday, half a thousand participants, in the celebrations of the 35 years of Garvetur, who contributed with donations in food and money to the Algarve Association of Parents and Friends of the Mentally Disabled Children (AAPACDM).
In total, 300 kg were raised in food, the main need of the Association, in addition to monetary value, and participated in the initiative, in addition to the employees of the companies of the Garvetur Group | Enolagest, his family and friends, many others who wanted to express their solidarity and commitment to an healthy lifestyle.
Since the event was adapted to various sports abilities, "the challenge was accepted by women, men and even children, becoming also a lively moment of friendship," mentioned Andreia Alexandre, the Human Resources director .
Reinaldo Teixeira expressed his thanks to all the participants, as well as to all those who helped in the organization and contributed to the success of this event, namely Garvetur | Enolagest staff, Let's go Run, NoSolo Água Vilamoura and Clube BTT Albufeira, emphasizing "the intention of continuing to support and sponsor sports and cultural activities, the scholarships of outstanding students of the University of Algarve, as well as professional internships, among other initiatives.
